Patients & Families

Welcome to PMH Department of Dental Oncology and Maxillofacial Prosthetics.

Why are you coming to see us?

You may have an upcoming appointment to visit PMH dentistry. You are seeing us because you have been diagnosed with cancer and will be receiving treatment starting relatively soon. With that said, the dental team at PMH is here to make sure you are ready for your necessary treatment.

If you have recently seen your own general dentist in the community, you will still need to be seen within our clinic if advised by your primary UHN physician.

The dental clinic provides comprehensive oral health care services for cancer patients and cancer survivors who require long-term specialized care. Maintaining good oral health and function throughout treatment and after completion of cancer care is important for your overall health and well-being.

What will happen at my first appointment?
